HELLO! WE ARE
CAMP IZZA

a place where children are proud to be who they are

OUR STORY

We strive to provide an environment where all children can come as they are and thrive.

We chose the name Izza because it means pride in Arabic and every year during camp, we strive to instill pride in three ways:

  • pride in the quality of the camp

  • pride in training the next generation of young leaders

  • pride in our campers to feel comfortable and confident in who they are

Since 2008, Camp Izza has provided a premier summer camp experience for children in Orange County.

Camp Izza has been accredited by the American Camp Association for over a decade; evidence of our commitment to excellence.

Dr. Omar Ezzeldine, Executive Director

With over 25 years of education experience working as a teacher, principal, and administrator, Omar believes summer camp is the best time for children to grow and connect with others beyond the classroom. His life-long dream was to create a camp based on his years of camp experience that would be fun and engaging for children. He believes camp is designed for a wide range of interests and welcomes all campers to explore their interests in a safe and nurturing environment.
